With a 15 or 20-year full warranty, That Guy Maintenance is officially a PRO Installer for Tiled Shower Waterproofing Systems.
The warranty only applies to contract work completed by That Guy Maintenance or its subcontractors specifically for the owner. Additionally, this warranty does not cover That Guy Maintenance’ appliances and fixtures installed for the owner. On request, the Company is willing to transfer and assign any applicable manufacturer’s warranties to the owner.
The owner must notify the Company in writing—preferably via email—detailing the precise item or items they believe to be covered by the warranty to exercise their warranty rights. The Company will respond to such warranty inquiries within three business days. Any urgent requests will be attended to as quickly as we can. Let’s say the Company decides, in its reasonable opinion, that this guarantee covers the item or items in need of repair. Unless it finds that such repairs were required by the owners or any person or parties connected to the owner’s carelessness or willful misconduct, it will promptly repair or replace any defective materials or workmanship at its sole cost and expense.
Any materials installed by the Company but afterward repaired, altered, or modified by someone or something other than the Company or its authorized representatives are void and are not covered by this guarantee.
The guarantee on all goods purchased by the homeowner, including vanities, fittings, and tiling, is void due to the Company’s lax quality control.

BATHROOM REMODEL: IS THERE A WARRANTY?
If you’re considering remodeling your bathroom, you might wonder if and how long the work would be covered. Spending $20,000 or more on a bathroom makeover only to learn that it was done improperly and that you are not covered is one of the worst things that might happen.
WHAT TYPE OF WARRANTY IS OFFERED?
A bathroom remodel often comes with a 12-month work warranty. The warranty may be shorter or longer depending on the contractor and Company you use.
Knowing the warranty’s duration is essential if you don’t want to be responsible for a catastrophe if something goes wrong. A good contractor or contracting business will also provide you with some assurance.
Additionally, it would be best if you were happy with the warranty period. For instance, if you want a two-year warranty but the Company only offers a six-month warranty, keep exploring until you find it. If you compromise, you can end yourself unsatisfied.
Last, consider whether a warranty covers the fixtures you purchase. A warranty is frequently offered with products by manufacturers. For instance, if you purchase a new toilet, it might be covered by a one-year warranty; therefore, be sure to gather all the data and documentation you’ll need to submit a claim if your toilet malfunctions, breaks, or exhibits other defects.
NEVER TAKE A VERBAL GUARANTEE
Undoubtedly one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to get the guarantee in writing. It is rare for a contractor to disclose a guarantee to a homeowner, yet when an issue arises, the contractor either denies stating anything or vanishes.
Never be ashamed to ask for a written warranty because doing so will protect and defend both you and the contractor. In fact, all reliable and trustworthy contractors will fulfill their obligation without delay or difficulty.
Check the warranty once it is on paper to ensure it covers all you want. Ask about anything you and the contractor discussed that is supposed to be included in the contract but isn’t.
IS ANYTHING NOT COVERED?
Yes. Your contractor will be clear with you about any items they won’t be responsible for. For instance, the contractor won’t replace the fixtures if you choose to purchase them from your source, and one breaks, and so on.
